Delivery
How do I track my order?
You will receive your tracking information via email. This will come in the form of a notification of dispatch of your item. We use multiple couriers to dispatch our products.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Delivery varies depending on the product ordered and the day it was ordered on. For non-bespoke products, we produce and dispatch them within two days of ordering. For bespoke products, please allow up to 6 working days for dispatch. Our couriers aim to have your new products delivered within two working days.
Please note: Delivery times come into effect from when we receive your final plan after any amendments or additional measurements have been requested and received from you.
What time will my product be delivered?
Our couriers will contact you on the day of delivery to give you a 2 hour timeslot for delivery.
What happens if I am not in for delivery?
Our couriers will make every effort to deliver your product when best suits you however it may be the case you are not in to receive your product. In this case, the courier may try and leave the product in a safe place or attempt to deliver the next working day. Our couriers will give you the option of notifying them of a safe place to leave your parcel.
Will you collect my old mattress?
Unfortunately, with the services we offer we are unable to collect your old mattress. Fear not, most local authorities allow you to dispose of your old mattress at their facilities and some even offer a collection service! Please contact your local authority for more information.
Returns
How do I cancel my Order?
Depending on where your new product is, you may be able to cancel your order. Please email customerservice@thefoampeople.co.uk or call us on 01924 764 907 and we will do our best to arrange a
cancellation for you.
How do I return my product?
Products can be returned so long as:
1. They have not been slept on.
2. Are unused.
To arrange a return, please email customerservice@thefoampeople.co.uk and we will assist in the best and most cost effective ways to return your product.
Can I return a Bespoke Product?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of a bespoke mattress or topper, being made to your specification, we are unable to accept returns on these products.
Ordering
I have put in the wrong details, can I change this?
Please notify us as soon as possible. Email customerservice@thefoampeople.co.uk with your order number and the correct details and our team will be in touch.
Can I order over the phone?
We ask that you order via our website. If you would like to get in touch regarding a query you have prior to order you can email us at sales@thefoampeople.co.uk or call 01924 764 907.
I have ordered the wrong product, how can I let you know?
Depending on when you ordered the product, we may be able to have it returned to us. If notified early on, we will be able to
intercept your product before it leaves us. Please email customerservice@thefoampeople.co.uk or call us on 01924 764 907 and we are here to help.
How do I order a Bespoke Caravan and Campervan Mattress or Topper?
Once you have selected the style that is the closest match to your bed or mattresses type, we ask you place the order using the drop down options for the size your mattress comes under and the configuration of foam you would like. Our sales team will then be in touch within 1 working day to confirm your dimensions and ask for a plan of them.
Please note the quicker you respond to our messages the quicker we will have your product made. We cannot be responsible for delays due to delayed responses to our messages.
General
Why does my mattress have a chemical smell to it?
As all of our products are delivered vacuum-packed, some can give off an unusual smell once unpacked. This is nothing to be concerned about. As the foam is expanding to its original size, off-gasses are released. We ask that you leave your mattress in a well ventilated room for 24-48 hours to allow it to get back to its original depth and size. This will also allow the smell to dissipate.
How long does my mattress warranty last?
All of our mattresses come with a 1 year standard warranty.
How do I find out the comfort rating of a mattress?
The comfort rating of every product is listed on the product page. If you are unsure or cannot find the comfort rating please get in touch via the contact us page, email our sales team at

Please note comfort ratings are based on personal preference and may differ based on your opinion.
